Most services can be booked directly online. A consultation is required only for first-time AJ Method Balayage and new extensions, and it’s where your artist learns your hair’s history and plans your result.

How much does balayage cost at Alfredo James Hair Design?
Balayage at Alfredo James Hair Design in San Antonio is $250 to $280, partial balayage is $210 to $230, and AJ Method Balayage, a complete all-inclusive service, is $500 to $550. The price depends on the artist’s level, and every balayage includes toner and a blowout.
How much is a Brazilian Blowout in San Antonio at Alfredo James?
A Brazilian Blowout is $300 at Alfredo James Hair Design. Brazilian Nanoplastia is $400, Brazilian Nano Smoothing is $200 and Black Diva is $350.
Is a blowout included with hair color?
Yes. Every color service at Alfredo James Hair Design includes a blowout finish. Highlights, balayage, bleach and tone, color correction and Platinum Card also include toner.
Can I book a treatment, Mini-Foils or AJ Refresh by itself?
Treatments and Mini-Foils are booked with a full-price haircut or AJ Blow Out, or added to a color service. AJ Refresh is a toner service for between highlight and balayage appointments. It is always booked with an AJ Blow Out ($135 to $150) or a haircut ($145 to $165), finish included, and it isn’t added to a color service. Color add-ons such as Color Melt and Bleach Bath are added to a color service and cannot be booked on their own. Toner/Gloss can be added to a color service such as all-over color, or to a haircut, root retouch or blowout. Services with foils already include toner. Root Shadow is added to highlights or balayage.
Why are some prices shown as a range?
All prices are starting prices, and the range reflects your artist’s level. Very long or very dense hair may need Extra Time, billed at $100 per half hour. Your artist confirms the plan and total investment before the service begins.
